Stone Quality

GRA Certified Stones — D Color, VVS1, Triple Excellent

GRA moissanite grading report No.20251650 — D color, VVS1 clarity, 3x Excellent cut, laser-inscribed girdle
  • Grading basis — Round Brilliant 0.10ct reference, D color, VVS1 clarity, 3x Excellent cut. GRA No.20251650 — open the full GRA report.
  • Laser-inscribed girdle, BHA moissanite — your end customers can verify the stone under a store microscope. Put the certificate number on your product page and watch return disputes drop.
  • Every order ships with certificates — ready for retail packaging and customs.
  • Batch-matched color — bridal sets and multi-ring orders are set from the same stone batch for identical color across pieces.

Metal Integrity

976.8‰ Tested Silver with 12-Month Anti-Tarnish Promise

The silver under the stones decides whether the ring still looks new at month twelve. Sterling is a floor, not a target: 925‰ minimum silver by weight in every market we ship to. Our production assay came in at 976.8‰, read non-destructively by X-ray fluorescence.

  • Silver purity 976.8‰ — 51.8 points clear of the floor — precious-metal content determined by XRF to GB/T 18043-2013 against a ≥925‰ sterling requirement. GB 11887-2012 recognizes no grade between 925 and 990, so the ring is still stamped S925: the assay clears the floor rather than sitting on it. Report No.24201801196-1
  • What "sterling" legally means where you resell it — 16 CFR 23.5 reserves "sterling", "Ster." and "sterling silver" for metal at least 925/1,000 fine, and 15 U.S.C. §297(b) makes the fineness stamp itself a legal obligation, not a style choice. UK silver over 7.78 g needs an Assay Office hallmark; our rings sit under that weight and travel with the fineness declaration in the carton.
  • Nickel release not detected — the test "hypoallergenic" has to pass — REACH Annex XVII entry 27 caps nickel release at 0.5µg/cm²·week for parts in prolonged skin contact, 0.2 for ear posts, measured to the harmonized EN 1811:2023 method. Roughly 1 in 7 European adults is nickel-allergic, so this is the line item that decides repeat orders. Both reports read not detected. No.24201801196-1 · No.260206012
  • Lead 17.1mg/kg and 14mg/kg — under 2% of the ceiling — GB 28480-2012 allows 1,000mg/kg lead in adult adornments and 300mg/kg in children's; both readings sit below a twentieth of the stricter number. Cadmium, Cr⁶⁺, arsenic and mercury not detected in either. California caps children's jewelry at 100ppm lead and 300ppm cadmium per component. No.24201801196-1 · No.260206012
  • Why silver tarnishes at all — 925 is 7.5% copper, and sulfur in air — mainly hydrogen sulfide — attacks both metals and leaves a grey silver-sulfide film. It is a surface reaction, not rust, and it speeds up as humidity rises. That is why the finish, not the alloy alone, decides how a ring photographs at month twelve.
  • What the finish is for — the bright plate on white pieces and the gold plate on gold pieces are the tarnish barrier, and both sit on the same nickel-free-tested base. On a ring worn daily, plated finishes typically start to thin at 12–18 months; the warranty window is set against that number rather than picked for marketing.
  • 12-month promise — color-fastness warranty with free re-plating consultation, and non-artificial stone loss re-set free. The paperwork is moving: GB 28480-2012 is being replaced by GB 28480-2026, issued 31 March 2026 and in force from 1 April 2027, which keeps the heavy-metal and nickel-release limits and adds physical requirements. Ask us which version your batch is tested to.

Custom & Bridal

Custom Moissanite Rings — CAD to Mass Production in 15 Days

Your sketches, photos or CAD files become rings. Design lock to bulk start is 15 days; retail bespoke workshops typically quote 4–6 weeks for the same path and ask you to start 8–12 weeks out. The difference is that CAD, the wax printer, the casting line and the plating tanks sit under one roof.

  • 01

Send design (quote in 12 hours)

Sketches, reference photos or CAD — NDA signed before any file exchange. Stone size, band profile, ring-size curve and target retail price are fixed here, so the quote you approve is the one the line builds to. MOQ starts at 30 pieces per design, and sizes can be split inside that quantity.

  • 02

    3D wax model (48 hours)

100% castable wax patterns within 48 hours of design lock, printed in-house on a 3D Systems ProJet MJP 2500W multi-jet wax printer — no tooling fee on stock-mold customization. The lost-wax path (CAD, printed wax, rubber mold, cast metal) means a design change costs a reprint, not a new tool.

  • 03

    Sample confirmation (7–10 days)

Physical samples pulled on the same line that will run your batch, so what you approve is what ships — and the sample fee is credited against the first bulk order. Stones are GRA-certified D color, VVS1 clarity and 3EX cut, laser-inscribed at the girdle so your end customer can verify under a store microscope.

  • 04

    Mass production (15–25 days)

Bridal sets produced in one batch: center stone, bands and pairs share stone color and finish, because one batch means one stone lot and one plating run. Moissanite holds that matched look — 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond, with dispersion of 0.104 against diamond's 0.044, which is the fire your shelf needs to read as one design under shop lighting.

  • 05

    QC & shipment

100% claw check and pull test, then AQL 2.5 on majors with zero accepted on criticals under the ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 sampling tables. Molds and CAD files are held free for 3 years, so reorders skip tooling entirely and restock in a fraction of the first-run lead time.

Buyer FAQ

Moissanite Ring FAQ

What is a moissanite ring?

A moissanite ring features lab-created silicon carbide gemstones that rival diamond in brilliance (higher fire and nearly equal hardness, 9.25 vs 10 on the Mohs scale), set here in tested 976.8‰ sterling silver with GRA certification.

How much does a moissanite ring cost wholesale?

Wholesale pricing depends on stone size, setting style and order quantity — MOQ starts at 30 pieces. Send us your target design and quantity for an itemized quote within 12 hours; no tooling fee on reorders.

Is moissanite good for an engagement ring?

Yes — 9.25 Mohs hardness suits daily wear, brilliance exceeds diamond, and GRA certification (D color, VVS1, 3EX cut) gives your customers verifiable confidence at a fraction of diamond cost.

Is 976.8‰ silver better than 925 sterling?

925‰ is the legal floor for sterling, not a ceiling. Our production assay measured 976.8‰ silver by X-ray fluorescence to GB/T 18043-2013 — 51.8 points clear of that floor. GB 11887-2012 recognizes no fineness grade between 925 and 990, so the rings still carry the S925 stamp; the assay exists to prove the batch is not sitting on the minimum.

Can you produce custom bridal ring sets?

Yes. OEM/ODM from your sketches or CAD: samples in 7–10 days, mass production 15–25 days, matching bands produced in the same batch for identical color. Molds kept free for 3 years.

What is the difference between D color and lower grades?

D is the top of the color scale — completely colorless. Lower grades (E–G) show faint warmth under direct light. We stock D/VVS1 as standard because colorless stones photograph truer online and return less.

Are your moissanite rings safe for nickel-sensitive skin?

That is what the nickel-release test settles. REACH Annex XVII entry 27 caps nickel release at 0.5µg/cm² per week for parts in prolonged skin contact, measured to the harmonized EN 1811:2023 method. Both of our reports read not detected, and the plate sits on a nickel-free-tested base — which matters because roughly 1 in 7 European adults is nickel-allergic.

How fast can you produce a custom moissanite bridal set?

48 hours from design lock to castable wax on our in-house 3D Systems ProJet MJP 2500W, 7–10 days to a production-line sample, and 15–25 days for bulk. Center stone, bands and pairs come from one stone lot and one plating run so the set matches. Molds and CAD files are held free for 3 years, so reorders skip tooling entirely.
